Speedhunters recently posted an awesome article about an awesome Audi race car and its super awesome turbo and drivetrain. Awesome.
The car also has a massive support team and financial backer (read: Audi aka VW A.G.). The message here for would be track molesters is start with the basics and work your way up. You don’t need forced induction and lots of cylinders to have fun at the track. It’s nice stuff to have, but it can also break down and requires more upkeep or track prep. Focus on car control, track position and lap times to improve the most important part of the car, the driver. Then strap a firework to your tailpipe. Don’t read into that awesome comment.
